Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  On page 2, line 6, strike "; and" and substitute a semicolon.

(2)  On page 2, line 11, between "Act" and the period, insert the following:

(5)  may not be construed to prohibit a municipality from taking any action, adopting any policy, or passing any ordinance or rule pertaining to the performance of the municipality's proprietary functions;

(6)  may not be construed to prohibit a municipality or county from enacting health and safety requirements;

(7)  may not be construed to prohibit a municipality or county from enacting measures to provide relief from natural disasters; and

(8)  may not be construed to prohibit a municipality or county from enacting prohibitions on employment discrimination
