Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 2 as follows:
(1) On line 14, strike "Unless" and substitute "(a) Except as provided by this section, unless".
(2) Between lines 19 and 20, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) This section does not apply to an ordinance, order, or rule that:
(1) protects, encourages, or promotes the production of honey, including an ordinance, order, or rule providing for rebates for the production of honey; or
(2) protects bees, butterflies, and birds.
