Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 2 as follows:
(1) On line 14, strike "Unless" and substitute "(a) Except as provided by this section, unless".
(2) Between lines 19 and 20, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) Subject to other state or federal law, this section does not apply to an ordinance, order, or rule that encourages, promotes, or provides rebates for the safe application of pesticides or alternatives to pesticides that are designed to lower the potential for pollution in local waters, streams, or aquifers.
