Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 2 as follows:
(1) On line 14, strike "Unless" and substitute "(a) Except as provided by this section, unless".
(2) Between lines 19 and 20, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) This section does not apply to an ordinance, order, or rule that encourages, promotes, or provides rebates to promote soil and water conservation best practices provided that the ordinance, order, or rule does not conflict with state or federal law.
