Amend HB 2473 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 2, line 15, between "clients" and the underlined colon, insert "after the clients have been given an opportunity to provide informed and explicit consent".
(2) On page 2, line 27, between "clients" and the underlined semicolon, insert "who provide informed and explicit consent to be screened using the screening tool".
(3) On page 3, line 10, between "agreements" and the underlined semicolon, insert the following:
for the purposes of:
(A) connecting clients to a requested service;
(B) addressing nonmedical drivers of health; and
(C) decreasing redundancies in the health and human services system
(4) On page 3, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following appropriately numbered subdivision and renumber subsequent subdivisions of the subsection and references to those subdivisions accordingly:
(____) comply with all applicable state and federal laws relating to protecting the privacy of each client's health and personal information, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (42 U.S.C. Section 1320d et seq.);
(5) On page 4, line 10, between "network" and the underlined semicolon, insert ", including recommendations for improving data privacy and client experience".
