Amend HB 2729 on third reading in SECTION 1 of the bill, by striking the text of added Section 29.167(b-3), Education Code, as added by Amendment No. 2 by Bernal on second reading, and substituting the following:

(b-3)  Subsections (b-1) and (b-2) and this subsection expire September 1, 2029.
