Amend HB 3135 on third reading as follows:
(1) Strike page 2, lines 5 through 8, and substitute the following:
Sec. 247.002. APPLICABILITY. This chapter applies only to a political subdivision with a population of 200,000 or more that imposes a tax.
(2) Renumber subsequent sections of added Chapter 247, Local Government Code, and any cross-references to those sections accordingly.
