Amend CSHB 3805 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 1, line 6, strike "Section 201.9955" and substitute "Sections 201.9955 and 201.9956".
(2) On page 1, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following:
Sec. 201.9956. FUNDING FOR PROGRAM CATEGORIES CREATED BY LAW. A category required by law to be included in the categories established under Section 201.995(a) may only be initially implemented if the legislature makes a specific appropriation for the purpose of implementing the category.
