System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
Amend CSHB 4285 (house committee printing) on page 1 as follows:
(1) On line 6, strike "Subsection (d)" and substitute "Subsections (d) and (e)".
(2) Strike lines 7-9 and substitute "(d) Except as provided by Subsection (e), a municipality that extends".
(3) Between lines 16 and 17, insert the following:
(e) Subsection (d) does not apply to an area in a municipality's extraterritorial jurisdiction that:
(1) is located within five miles of a military base; or
(2) is located in a county:
(A) located in the hill country viticultural area;
(B) with a population greater than 240,000; and
(C) that includes the Blanco River.
