Amend CSSB 14 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 1, line 18, strike "18" and substitute "16".
(2) On page 3, strike lines 1 and 2, and reletter subsequent paragraphs of proposed Section 161.702(3), Health and Safety Code, accordingly.
(3) On page 3, strike lines 11 through 24, and substitute the following:
the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian, of appropriate and medically necessary procedures or treatments to a child who:
(1) is born with a medically verifiable genetic disorder of sex development, including:
(A) 46,XX chromosomes with virilization;
(B) 46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization; or
(C) both ovarian and testicular tissue; or
(2) does not have the normal sex chromosome
