Amend CSSB 17 (house committee report) on page 3, at the end of line 27, by inserting the following appropriately lettered subsection and relettering subsequent subsections and references to those subsections accordingly:
(____) In adopting policies and procedures under Subsection (b)(2), the governing board of an institution of higher education must solicit, consider, and incorporate public comment and input from the institution's community. The governing board shall ensure that opportunities to provide public comment and input are accessible, fair, and designed to maximize participation.
