Amend CSSB 1004 (senate committee printing) as follows:

(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 38.112(a), Penal Code (page 1, line 31), between "causes" and "another", insert "or conspires or cooperates with".

(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 38.112(c), Penal Code (page 1, lines 38 and 39), strike "It is an exception to the application of this section that the tracking device was removed or disabled" and substitute "This section does not apply to the removal or disabling of a tracking device".

(3)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Article 42.08(b-1)(1)(B), Code of Criminal Procedure (page 1, line 50), between "(B)" and "commence", insert "if the defendant's parole or mandatory supervision has been revoked,".

(4)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Article 42.08(b-1)(2), Code of Criminal Procedure (page 1, line 59, through page 2, line 1), strike "automatic revocation of the defendant's parole or mandatory supervision under Section 508.285, Government Code" and substitute "revocation of the defendant's parole or mandatory supervision".

(5)  Strike SECTION 3 of the bill, adding Section 508.285, Government Code (page 2, lines 2 through 11), and renumber the SECTIONS of the bill accordingly.
