Amend CSSB 1213 (senate committee printing) as follows:

(1)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section 1958.031(a), Occupations Code (page 1, line 38), strike "nine" and substitute "11".

(2)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section 1958.031(a)(3), Occupations Code (page 1), strike lines 45 through 47 and substitute the following:

"(3)  two members who are building contractors principally engaged in home construction and who are members of a statewide building trade association;".

(3)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section 1958.031(a), Occupations Code (page 1, between lines 47 and 48), insert the following appropriately numbered subdivision and renumber the subdivisions of added Section 1958.031(a), Occupations Code, and cross-references to those subdivisions accordingly:

"(  )  one member who is a representative of the insurance industry;".

(4)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section 1958.032, Occupations Code (page 1, line 59), strike "three" and substitute "three or four".

(5)  In SECTION 4 of the bill, in the transition language (page 2), strike lines 28 through 31 and substitute "designate three members of the advisory board to serve terms expiring February 1, 2025, four members to serve terms expiring February 1, 2027, and four members to serve terms expiring February 1, 2029.".
