Amend SB 1484 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 2, line 8, strike "and".
(2) On page 2, line 11, between "Protection" and the underlined period, insert the following:
; and
(4) training on the prohibition under Subsection (d)(2) of racial profiling or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status
(3) On page 2, strike lines 18 and 19 and substitute the following:
operations as described by Subsection (c):
(1) is not entitled to compensation from the department for the assistance provided; and
(2) may not engage in racial profiling or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.
