AUTHOR'S / SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT

Too often, members of the Texas State Guard pay approximately $300 in order to purchase their own uniforms. The legislature should appropriate money to the Texas State Guard Uniform and Insignia Fund to help defray these costs. H.B. 387 seeks to facilitate such an appropriation.

H.B. 387 amends current law relating to the Texas State Guard uniform and insignia fund.
