A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the issuance of Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center |
|
|
specialty license plates; authorizing a fee. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, |
|
|
is amended by adding Section 504.517 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 504.517. YVONNE A. EWELL TOWNVIEW MAGNET CENTER |
|
|
LICENSE PLATES. (a) The department shall issue specialty license |
|
|
plates for alumni and faculty of and students and parents of |
|
|
students attending the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center in |
|
|
the city of Dallas. The license plates must include the words |
|
|
"Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center" and the Yvonne A. Ewell |
|
|
Townview Magnet Center's logo. |
|
|
(b) The fee for issuance of the license plates may not |
|
|
exceed the administrative costs incurred by the department in the |
|
|
issuance of the license plates. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
