A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|

|
relating to the storage of wine by a winery. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 16.11, Alcoholic Beverage Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) The holder of a winery permit shall register with the |
|
|
commission each warehouse used by the permit holder to store wine. |
|
|
The commission by rule shall determine the information that is |
|
|
required to register a warehouse under this subsection. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
