A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to requiring a state agency to notify the legislature |
|
|
regarding certain required reports. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 2052.0021, Government Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: |
|
|
(e) Not later than the 30th day before the date a state |
|
|
agency is required to submit a report to the legislature, the agency |
|
|
shall notify each member of the legislature if the agency will be |
|
|
unable to deliver the report by that date. The agency may send the |
|
|
notice electronically. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
