A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to the use of certain lighting equipment on motorcycles
  and mopeds.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 547.306(b), Transportation Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (b)  A person may operate a motorcycle or moped equipped with
  LED ground effect lighting only if the lighting [that] emits a
  non-flashing amber or white light, and no other type of light.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
