A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to documents required to be posted on the Legislative |
|
|
Budget Board's Internet website in connection with an |
|
|
appropriations bill. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 322.0081(a), Government Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
(a) The board shall post on the board's Internet website |
|
|
documents prepared by the board, and all supporting documents and |
|
|
work product used to create the documents, that are provided to a |
|
|
committee, subcommittee, or conference committee of either house of |
|
|
the legislature in connection with an appropriations bill. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only |
|
|
to documents provided to a committee, subcommittee, or conference |
|
|
committee on or after the effective date of this Act. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
