A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a centralized telephone service and e-mail directory by |
|
|
the Department of Information Resources. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 2170.059(d), Government Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) Each using entity shall provide an e-mail address |
|
|
associated with any user of the service to the department upon |
|
|
request. |
|
|
(e) The department annually shall prepare and issue a |
|
|
revised centralized telephone service and e-mail directory not |
|
|
later than DecemberMarch 31. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
