A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to revised fiscal notes. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 314.003, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) If a revised fiscal note is prepared for the same |
|
|
version of a bill or resolution, the revised fiscal note and the |
|
|
fiscal note that was revised must be printed and remain with the |
|
|
bill or resolution in accordance with Subsections (b) and (c). In |
|
|
preparing the revised fiscal note, the board must include a |
|
|
statement describing the differences between the revised fiscal |
|
|
note and the fiscal note being revised. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
