A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the applicability of the public information law to |
|
|
information of a toll project entity. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 372, Transportation Code, |
|
|
is amended by adding Section 372.003 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 372.003. PUBLIC INFORMATION. Except as otherwise |
|
|
provided by law, including the confidentiality of electronic toll |
|
|
collection customer account information described by Section |
|
|
372.058(a), information of a toll project entity is public |
|
|
information under Chapter 552, Government Code, including |
|
|
information related to a toll project that is the subject of a |
|
|
comprehensive development agreement entered into by the toll |
|
|
project entity. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
