AN ACT

relating to the creation of the Big Bend Regional Emergency Service |

District |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Chapter 775, Health and Safety Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
CHAPTER 775.400 BIG BEND REGIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT |
|
|
SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS |
|
|
Sec. 775.401. The Big Bend Regional Emergency Service |
|
|
District shall be established through collaboration of Brewster, |
|
|
Jeff Davis, and Presidio counties. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
