R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
WHEREAS, The Boo-B-Q Cook-Off is a much-anticipated event |
|
|
that takes place annually in Tomball; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the Champions Barbecue Alliance as one |
|
|
of the organization's state championship cook-offs, the |
|
|
competition attracts talented chefs from all across Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These highly skilled pitmasters are putting their |
|
|
culinary abilities to the test as they vie for top honors in several |
|
|
different categories, including chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket; |
|
|
guests have the opportunity to sample a variety of savory dishes |
|
|
while enjoying a fun, family-oriented get-together; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and the |
|
|
Boo-B-Q Cook-Off is sure to offer good food and good times to |
|
|
everyone in attendance; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the annual Boo-B-Q Cook-Off and |
|
|
extend to the organizers, contestants, and attendees sincere best |
|
|
wishes for a fun and successful event. |
