R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ben Russell has rendered outstanding service as a
  sergeant with the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 150
  security patrol; and
         WHEREAS, Occupying approximately 687 acres of land, District
  No. 150 is a political subdivision created by the Texas Water
  Rights Commission that is located 15 miles north of Houston; the
  Harris County Sheriff's Office provides fully sworn peace officers
  for additional security to residents and facilities in the
  district; and
         WHEREAS, During his tenure with the MUD 150 security patrol,
  Sergeant Russell has demonstrated an unswerving commitment to the
  highest standards of his profession; he goes above and beyond the
  call of duty for each task he undertakes, including meeting with
  contractors and helping with the garden area; always equipped with
  a smile, he readily shares his gifts and knowledge with others; and
         WHEREAS, Texans owe an immense debt of gratitude to the men
  and women of the law enforcement profession who protect and serve
  the public, and Ben Russell is indeed deserving of recognition;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Ben Russell for his service with the
  Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 150 security patrol
  and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success with his
  important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Sergeant Russell as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
