R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Mason County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Jerry Bearden retired as county judge on |
|
|
December 31, 2022; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, First taking office on January 1, 2003, Judge |
|
|
Bearden served his fellow citizens with distinction throughout his |
|
|
notable 20-year tenure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Jerry Bearden has helped make Mason County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jerry Bearden for his service as Mason |
|
|
County judge and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Judge Bearden as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
