R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Mairi Gray retired as county treasurer on December |
|
|
31, 2022; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, First taking office on November 29, 2011, Ms. Gray |
|
|
served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable |
|
|
11-year tenure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Mairi Gray has helped make Real County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Mairi Gray for her service as Real |
|
|
County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Gray as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
