R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Upton County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Sharon Harper retired as county treasurer on |
|
|
December 31, 2020; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of her tenure, Ms. Harper served her |
|
|
fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|
|
responsibilities of her office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedication and commitment to good |
|
|
governance, Sharon Harper has helped make Upton County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Sharon Harper for her service as Upton |
|
|
County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Harper as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
