R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Temple Community Clinic celebrated the 30th
  anniversary of its founding at its annual Caring Ball on February
  11, 2023; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 1992 through a collaboration between
  Leadership Temple and local physicians and community leaders,
  Temple Community Clinic seeks to expand access to quality health
  care for uninsured and underinsured residents of Bell County; the
  clinic offers a wide range of services in areas such as cardiology,
  gynecology, and dentistry, and works to ensure the overall
  well-being of its patients through wellness education and mental
  health care; and
         WHEREAS, Last year, the clinic served more than 1,500
  patients at over 4,500 appointments, greatly reducing hospital and
  emergency room visits; to better meet the medical needs of area
  residents, the organization is in the process of building a new,
  larger facility; and
         WHEREAS, Over the past three decades, Temple Community Clinic
  has made vital contributions to the health and welfare of countless
  Bell County citizens, and it is indeed deserving of recognition on
  the occasion of this significant milestone in its history; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Temple Community Clinic for 30 years of
  service to the community and extend to all those associated with the
  organization sincere best wishes for continued success with their
  important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Temple Community Clinic as an expression of high
  regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
