R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Levera Marie
  Wyatt-Hines were deeply saddened by her passing on January 19,
  2023, at the age of 74; and
         WHEREAS, The former Levera Wyatt was born to Corrie and
  Francis Wyatt on January 9, 1949, in Goodrich, and she grew up with
  the companionship of three brothers, Wallace, Larry, and Sammy; she
  was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in
  Houston; and
         WHEREAS, In 1967, Ms. Wyatt-Hines graduated from Phillis
  Wheatley High School in Houston, where she was voted Most Popular
  Senior, Senior Secretary, and Miss Esquire, and she continued her
  education at Prairie View A&M University; she went on to become an
  executive assistant at Coastal Oil and Gas before retiring in 1989;
  and
         WHEREAS, This beloved woman took great pride in her son,
  Marco; in her leisure hours, she enjoyed shopping and spending time
  with her family and friends; and
         WHEREAS, Although her loss is difficult to bear, Levera
  Wyatt-Hines has left her loved ones with many cherished memories,
  and they will forever hold her close in their hearts; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Levera Marie
  Wyatt-Hines and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn her
  passing: to her son, Marco Limbrick; to her brothers, Larry Wyatt
  and Sammy Wyatt; to her nephews, Yuri Wyatt and his wife, Zarassa,
  Dion Byrd, Bryant Wyatt, and Milton Wyatt; to her nieces, Tonjau
  Wyatt, Ashante Days, and Samona Wyatt; and to her other relatives
  and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Levera
  Marie Wyatt-Hines.
