R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Matt Sapp of the Frisco Fire Department has been |
|
|
named the 2022 Frisco Firefighter of the Year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Frisco Fire Department annually |
|
|
vote to honor one of their colleagues with the Firefighter of the |
|
|
Year award; Mr. Sapp is especially admired by his peers for his |
|
|
leadership, integrity, and reliability; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Sapp joined the Frisco Fire Department in June |
|
|
2016, and he currently serves on the Special Operations Team, which |
|
|
responds to situations requiring heavy rescue, high angle rescue, |
|
|
confined space rescue, hazmat, or paramedic services; he is also a |
|
|
member of Texas A&M Task Force 1, and he has further distinguished |
|
|
himself as president of the Frisco Firefighters Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his hard work and dedication to duty, Matt |
|
|
Sapp has exemplified the highest ideals of his profession, and he |
|
|
may indeed reflect with pride on this well-deserved recognition; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Matt Sapp on his receipt of the |
|
|
2022 Frisco Firefighter of the Year award and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sapp as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
