R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate |
|
the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of |
|
our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to |
|
recognize the exemplary service of Angie Sommers; and |
|
WHEREAS, Constable Sommers has distinguished herself through |
|
her dedicated efforts as the Precinct 7 constable of El Paso County, |
|
and the skill and professionalism she has demonstrated in this |
|
important role have earned her the respect and admiration of her |
|
fellow Texans; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Constable |
|
Sommers greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her |
|
achievements make her a worthy role model for other women in law |
|
enforcement; and |
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |
|
and engaged leaders like Angie Sommers, and she may take |
|
justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example |
|
she has set for others; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Angie Sommers for her service as the |
|
Precinct 7 constable of El Paso County and extend to her sincere |
|
best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Constable Sommers as an expression of high regard by |
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
