R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate |
|
|
the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of |
|
|
our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to |
|
|
recognize the exemplary service of Christine Singh; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Singh has distinguished herself through her |
|
|
dedicated efforts as secretary of the Anthony Independent School |
|
|
District Board of Trustees, and the skill and professionalism she |
|
|
has demonstrated in this important role have earned her the respect |
|
|
and admiration of her fellow Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Ms. Singh |
|
|
greatly benefits the students, faculty, and staff she serves, and |
|
|
her achievements make her a worthy role model for other women |
|
|
seeking public office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |
|
|
and engaged leaders like Christine Singh, and she may take |
|
|
justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example |
|
|
she has set for others; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Christine Singh for her service as |
|
|
secretary of the Anthony Independent School District Board of |
|
|
Trustees and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Singh as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
