R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate |
|
|
the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of |
|
|
our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to |
|
|
recognize the exemplary service of Christina R. Sanchez; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Sanchez has distinguished herself through her |
|
|
dedicated efforts as a member of the El Paso Community College Board |
|
|
of Trustees, and the skill and professionalism she has demonstrated |
|
|
in this important role have earned her the respect and admiration of |
|
|
her fellow Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, |
|
|
Ms. Sanchez greatly benefits the students, faculty, and staff she |
|
|
serves, and her achievements make her a worthy role model for other |
|
|
women seeking public office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |
|
|
and engaged leaders like Christina R. Sanchez, and she may take |
|
|
justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example |
|
|
she has set for others; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Christina R. Sanchez for her service as |
|
|
a member of the El Paso Community College Board of Trustees and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Sanchez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
