R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate |
|
|
the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of |
|
|
our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to |
|
|
recognize the exemplary service of Tracey Jerome; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Jerome has distinguished herself through her |
|
|
dedicated efforts as senior deputy city manager for the City of El |
|
|
Paso, and the skill and professionalism she has demonstrated in |
|
|
this important role have earned her the respect and admiration of |
|
|
her fellow Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, |
|
|
Ms. Jerome greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her |
|
|
achievements make her a worthy role model for other women in |
|
|
municipal government; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |
|
|
and engaged leaders like Tracey Jerome, and she may take |
|
|
justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example |
|
|
she has set for others; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Tracey Jerome for her service as senior |
|
|
deputy city manager for the City of El Paso and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Jerome as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
