R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Elena Erives Acosta has earned great distinction |
|
|
with her outstanding service as principal of Horizon High School in |
|
|
the Clint Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the |
|
|
students, faculty, and staff of Horizon High School, Ms. Acosta has |
|
|
led the way in fostering a supportive and challenging educational |
|
|
environment on campus; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing |
|
|
vitality of our state, and Elena Erives Acosta is playing an |
|
|
instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential |
|
|
and become engaged and productive members of their community; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Elena Erives Acosta for her |
|
|
contributions as principal of Horizon High School and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Acosta as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
