R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Kymberlaine Banks has made vital contributions to
  Communities Foundation of Texas through her work as senior business
  engagement officer; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining CFT in 2019, Ms. Banks has assisted
  ethical companies in developing and executing corporate social
  responsibility and environmental, social, and governance
  strategies; she also helps her clients to build relationships with
  like-minded businesses and organizations, and she serves as a
  steward for the CFT Business Engagement Network; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Banks brings to her role a wealth of knowledge
  and experience from her 35 years in public relations,
  communications, and employee engagement, which includes her
  service as a founding partner at Diversity Crew, an equity,
  inclusion, and belonging consultancy firm; and
         WHEREAS, Dedicated to giving back, she chairs the City of
  Garland Community Multicultural Commission, is a member of the Arts
  Mission Oak Cliff board, and benefits The Arts Community Alliance
  as a grant panelist; she further shares her time with the Garland
  Overnight Warming Shelter and Austin Street Center, and she is a
  graduate of Leadership Garland; and
         WHEREAS, Kymberlaine Banks has played an important role in
  furthering the mission of Communities Foundation of Texas, and she
  is indeed deserving of recognition for her outstanding record of
  achievement; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Kymberlaine Banks for her service as the
  senior business engagement officer of Communities Foundation of
  Texas and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Banks as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
