R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Larry Leon Weiseman of Salisbury, Missouri, on March 3, |
|
2023, at the age of 81; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Leonard and Erna Weiseman, Larry Weiseman |
|
was born in Salisbury on August 17, 1941, and he grew up with the |
|
companionship of two siblings, Joanne and Jerry; he graduated from |
|
Salisbury High School in 1959, and in 1963, he joined the United |
|
States Army Reserve, serving until 1969; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Weiseman worked throughout Missouri as a |
|
carpenter, craftsman, and carpet and flooring installer; in his |
|
leisure hours, he liked hosting fish fries and cookouts for friends |
|
and family, fishing with his brother and cousins, and taking annual |
|
canoe trips; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Weiseman enjoyed the love |
|
and support of his wife, Martha, with whom he shared a fulfilling |
|
union that spanned more than five decades; he took great pride in |
|
his two children, Lisa and Ryan, and with the passing years, he had |
|
the pleasure of seeing his treasured family grow to include two |
|
beloved grandsons, Logan and Henry; admired for his warm and caring |
|
nature, Mr. Weiseman endeared himself easily to others with his |
|
contagious laugh and ready smile; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his loss is difficult to bear, Larry |
|
Weiseman has left his loved ones with many cherished memories, and |
|
they will forever hold him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Larry Leon Weiseman |
|
and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, be |
|
it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Larry |
|
Weiseman. |
