R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, For a decade, Carrie J. Quinn has worked tirelessly |
|
to build a solid educational foundation for the students of Nichols |
|
Sawmill Elementary School in the Magnolia Independent School |
|
District; and |
|
WHEREAS, Currently serving as principal, Mrs. Quinn has been |
|
an administrator at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School for 10 years, |
|
and over the course of her exemplary tenure, she has distinguished |
|
herself through her unwavering dedication to helping her students |
|
reach their full potential and become engaged and productive |
|
members of their community; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of two educators, Mrs. Quinn began her |
|
career as an elementary school teacher, and she taught several |
|
primary grades, including fourth grade reading/language arts; |
|
after attending Texas A&M University, she spent two years in |
|
Nashville and worked at WSIX radio station on Music Row; in all her |
|
endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her husband and |
|
their two sons; and |
|
WHEREAS, Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and Magnolia ISD |
|
have benefited immeasurably from Carrie Quinn's leadership, |
|
professionalism, and commitment to excellence, and she has earned |
|
the admiration and appreciation of her colleagues and students; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Carrie J. Quinn for her 10 years of |
|
service to Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and extend to her |
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mrs. Quinn as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
