R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has made significant contributions
  to the legislative office of State Representative Terry Meza
  through her excellent constituent services, policy research, and
  general assistance; and
         WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has demonstrated an outstanding work
  ethic and a commitment to excellence during her tenure as a
  legislative intern, embodying the values of our office and
  contributing to our success; and
         WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has shown exceptional dedication to
  her education by pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration
  with a major in Marketing and a minor in Real Estate from The
  University of Texas at Austin, which will be conferred in December
  2023; and
         WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has gained valuable experience
  through her work as a Student Marketing Assistant and Student
  Assistant for McCombs Development and External Relations Team, as a
  Student Consultant for the Office of the Vice President for Student
  Affairs, as a Choreographer for D&A Quince's, and as an Event
  Commissioner for Castle Event Center; and
         WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has exhibited outstanding leadership
  skills and commitment to her community through her involvement in
  organizations such as RGV Familia, the McCombs Leadership Program,
  the Undergraduate Dean's Student Advisory Council, Delta Sigma Pi,
  the Undergraduate Business Council, and the BBA Women's Council;
  and
         WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has been recognized for her academic
  and leadership achievements with numerous honors, including the HSF
  Scholar, Melinda and Mike Lafitte Endowed Scholarship in Real
  Estate, Dr. Pablo and Teresa Rhi-Perez Endowed Scholarship in
  Business, and Certified Student Leader; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  commends Abigail Castro for her outstanding contributions to the
  Office of State Representative Terry Meza, her commitment to
  excellence, and her leadership within the community; and, and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED That an official copy of this resolution be prepared
  for Ms. Abigail Castro as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
