R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Eleanor Nicholson has ably served her fellow Texans |
|
|
as an intern in the office of State Representative Ana-Maria Ramos |
|
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Nicholson has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Nicholson is currently pursuing a degree in |
|
|
government at The University of Texas at Austin; while balancing |
|
|
her work and her studies, she has also found time to volunteer as a |
|
|
reading tutor for elementary school students; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Eleanor Nicholson has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Eleanor Nicholson for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Ana-Maria |
|
|
Ramos and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Nicholson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
