R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Teresa Ibarra Serrano |
|
of Leander were deeply saddened by her passing on March 30, 2023, at |
|
the age of 57; and |
|
WHEREAS, The former Teresa Ibarra was born to Aniceto Ibarra |
|
and Lorenza Montemayor on May 4, 1965, in Austin, and she grew up |
|
with the companionship of two sisters, Alice and Khristine; she |
|
graduated from Liberty Hill High School and went on to work for |
|
AirBorn, Inc. for more than three decades; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. Serrano enjoyed the love |
|
and support of her husband, Jesus, with whom she shared a fulfilling |
|
union that spanned 25 years; she delighted in time spent with her |
|
niece, Annalicia, and her nephew, Camden, and with the passing |
|
years, she had the pleasure of welcoming into her family four |
|
great-nieces, Cadence, Emory, Nova, and Isla, and a great-nephew, |
|
Vincent; and |
|
WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Teresa Serrano |
|
will remember the way she touched their lives with her warmth, |
|
kindness, and optimism, and she will forever hold a treasured place |
|
in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Teresa Ibarra Serrano |
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Jesus Serrano; to her sisters, Alice Ibarra and Khristine |
|
Vallejo and her husband, Mario; to her niece, Annalicia Reynoso, |
|
and her husband, Carlos; to her nephew, Camden Ibarra, and his wife, |
|
Bailey; to her great-nephew and great-nieces, Vincent Reynoso, |
|
Cadence Ibarra, Emory Ibarra, Nova Reynoso, and Isla Ibarra; and to |
|
her other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Teresa |
|
Serrano. |
