R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
|
of Donald David Naiser of San Antonio, who passed away on March 31, |
|
|
2022, at the age of 79; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Joseph and Viola Naiser, Donald Naiser |
|
|
was born in El Campo on October 17, 1942, and he grew up with the |
|
|
companionship of two brothers, Fred and Joe Eddie; he earned a |
|
|
degree in agricultural engineering from Texas A&M University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After working for Central Power and Light and |
|
|
Drymalla Construction, Mr. Naiser joined Wharton County Electric |
|
|
Cooperative; over the course of his 23-year career with that |
|
|
company, he served as general manager and chief executive officer |
|
|
before retiring in 2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Naiser enjoyed the love |
|
|
and support of his wife, Barbara, with whom he shared a rewarding |
|
|
marriage that spanned more than five and a half decades; he took |
|
|
great pride in their sons, Derek, Brian, Dodd, and Marcus, and over |
|
|
the years, he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family 10 |
|
|
grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Donald Naiser lived a life that was rich in personal |
|
|
and professional achievements, and he will forever be remembered |
|
|
with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Donald David Naiser |
|
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
|
wife, Barbara Kutach Naiser; to his sons, Derek Naiser and his wife, |
|
|
Susan, Brian Naiser and his wife, Kristine, Dodd Naiser and his |
|
|
wife, Katerina, and Marcus Naiser and his wife, Angela; to his |
|
|
grandchildren, Katie, Cassie, Clay, Logan, Brooke, Elizabeth, |
|
|
Isabella, Brandt, Carson, and Davis; and to his other relatives and |
|
|
many friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Donald |
|
|
Naiser. |
