R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Larson Crank has ably served his fellow Texans as an |
|
|
intern in the office of State Representative Charles Cunningham |
|
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Crank has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of tasks, including |
|
|
conducting legislative research and handling constituent |
|
|
correspondence; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|
|
field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |
|
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Cameron and Leigh Ann Crank, Mr. Crank is |
|
|
currently a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, where he |
|
|
is working toward a bachelor's degree in history and government |
|
|
with a minor in business and public policy; he is actively involved |
|
|
with the Liberal Arts Honors Program at UT, as well as the Texas |
|
|
Economics Journal, the Texas Orator, the Texas Undergraduate |
|
|
Research Journal, and the Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity; furthermore, |
|
|
he has earned placement on the dean's honor list and has been |
|
|
recognized as a Thomas M. Keel Fund scholar and an R. J. Kidd |
|
|
Memorial scholar; in the future, he plans to attend law school and |
|
|
specialize in public policy; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Larson Crank for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Charles |
|
|
Cunningham and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Crank as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
