R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Julían Ramírez of Mission has ably served his fellow |
|
|
Texans as an assistant in the office of State Representative |
|
|
R. D. "Bobby" Guerra during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Ramírez has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including scheduling, helping with constituent and press |
|
|
relations, researching policies, and drafting floor reports; in |
|
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Mission, Mr. Ramírez previously served |
|
|
as an intern in Representative Guerra's office during the 87th |
|
|
Legislative Session; he earned a bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science with minors in history and legal studies from The |
|
|
University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2021, and he plans to |
|
|
attend St. Mary's University School of Law later this year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative assistant with skill and dedication, and he |
|
|
is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Julían Ramírez for his service as a |
|
|
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative |
|
|
R. D. "Bobby" Guerra and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Ramírez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
