R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Karissa Rodriguez has distinguished herself in her
  responsibilities as a committee clerk for the Resolutions Calendars
  Committee and its chair, State Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra,
  during the 88th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rodriguez has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  which have included supporting Representative Guerra in his role as
  chair of the Resolutions Calendars Committee, as well as analyzing
  bills, conducting research, and working on resolutions and talking
  points; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of
  public service, she has learned more about the legislative process
  and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Rodriguez earned her bachelor's degree in
  public administration from Texas State University in 2021, and she
  is currently pursuing a master's degree at The University of Texas
  at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs; she previously worked as a
  licensing manager for the Texas Executive Council of Physical
  Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners; and
         WHEREAS, Karissa Rodriguez has performed her duties as a
  committee clerk with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Karissa Rodriguez for her service as
  Resolutions Calendars committee clerk and in the office of State
  Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
