R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Veronica Brotherton received a 2023 Women in |
|
|
Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its |
|
|
Outstanding Women in Education event on March 29; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An inclusion specialist in Special Education |
|
|
Support Services for ESC Region 2, Ms. Brotherton oversees the |
|
|
inclusive/co-teaching classroom model and is the regional trainer |
|
|
for the Crisis Prevention Institute and the Treasuring Our |
|
|
Paraprofessionals program; she is in her fifth year with ESC |
|
|
Region 2 and is widely respected for her professionalism, content |
|
|
knowledge, and expertise in special education; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Veronica Brotherton has set an outstanding example |
|
|
of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Veronica Brotherton on her receipt |
|
|
of a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center |
|
|
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Brotherton as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
