R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Laura Grey of the Tuloso-Midway Independent School |
|
|
District received a 2023 Women in Education Award from the |
|
|
Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in |
|
|
Education event on March 29; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Grey has enjoyed a rewarding career at |
|
|
Tuloso-Midway ISD that has spanned 21 years; she currently teaches |
|
|
honors English classes at Tuloso-Midway High School, where she |
|
|
provides a challenging yet nurturing environment for her students; |
|
|
she has further distinguished herself through her work as a sponsor |
|
|
for the International Studies and PAL programs; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Laura Grey has set an outstanding example of |
|
|
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Laura Grey on her receipt of a 2023 |
|
|
Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in her |
|
|
important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Grey as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
