R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Royse City Chamber of Commerce is celebrating |
|
|
its 30th anniversary on May 16, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Royse City Chamber of |
|
|
Commerce has served as a bridge between local businesses and the |
|
|
wider community, and it has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to |
|
|
improving the quality of life for area residents while contributing |
|
|
to the prosperity of the local economy; today, the organization |
|
|
represents a robust network of member businesses, and it benefits |
|
|
from the able leadership of its president and CEO, Ashlee Burke; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Royse City Chamber offers a variety of services |
|
|
and initiatives to help businesses achieve their goals; the |
|
|
organization's networking opportunities include membership |
|
|
luncheons and Business After Hours events, and the chamber sponsors |
|
|
a number of other popular gatherings, such as Casino Night and |
|
|
FunFest; the group also promotes businesses though ribbon-cutting |
|
|
and groundbreaking ceremonies and print and online resources, and |
|
|
it honors local companies and entrepreneurs during its annual |
|
|
awards banquet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the past three decades, the Royse City Chamber |
|
|
of Commerce has played an integral role in the growth and vitality |
|
|
of the community, and the organization is indeed deserving of |
|
|
recognition as it marks this special milestone in its history; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Royse |
|
|
City Chamber of Commerce and extend to all those associated with the |
|
|
organization sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the chamber as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
